Ecstatic Dance Berne’s DJ course offers maximal flexibility. All of our tutorials and other resources are available online on a specially designed learning management system (LMS) so you can learn at your own pace with intensive personal coaching and feedback.

…install, set up and use Native Instruments Traktor Pro 3 (software) and S2 MK3 Controller (hardware).

…create a 90 or 120 minute dynamic conscious movement journey using the model of The Hero’s Journey.

…categorise  your music in playlists for an efficient workflow and prepare for performance by setting beat grids and cue points.

Robb Correll

Course designer and coach, Robb Correll, is professor emeritus of learning design with special expertise in accompanying learners in independent, individualised and hands on learning processes. He is also a trained singer with a BFA in vocal performance, a certified NLP Master Trainer, certified Creative Mind Coach, theologian (MA in Theology), choir and orchestra conductor and long time theater director. 40 years of experience, knowledge and skill in multiple disciplines flow into the design and delivery of his courses.

After this course I am able to create a set for an ecstatic dance event that works. A very good mix of short theory parts, online modules, listening to songs and sets and hands-on practice allowed me to learn the skills needed for DJing.
